February 1st saw the launch of Farrow & Ball nine new colours and it was with great pleasure to have the lovely Kirsty, Colour Consultant from Farrow & Ball, join us to share her expertise and offer client advice.
Farrow & Ball produce their paints with passion and care in Dorset, using the finest ingredients and rich pigments to produce distinctive colours and finishes.
Each come with a unique story and meaning behind the inspiration and so with new colours we have nine new meanings.
From soft neutrals and muted pastels, to strong brights and rich dark tones, the nine new colours feel like natural additions to their palette.
All the new colours have ribbons on the display board so very easy to spot!
The inspiration for each colour, how best to use them and 4 recommended colour schemes for each is in the ‘New Colours 2016′ inspiration booklet which you can pick for free in the showroom.
Also in stock are the new 2016 colours cards and the new colour ‘brush out boards’ so you can see the actual colours painted on boards. These are extremely useful to see the actual painted on colours, handy to match against any of the other 132 colour boards, move into different light to see how the tones change, match up to flooring samples etc.
Comparing the ‘brush out boards’ not only helps in the decision process, saves time and frustration on too-ing and fro-ing as you change your mind, but saves money on wasted sample pots!
